THE WASHING WELL OPEN UNDER LEVEL 3

Firstly, we have been overwhelmed and are so grateful for the support of our backabuddy campaign. We reached our fundraising target and distributed over 500 free 3 layered face-masks to the Makhanda community! Thank you to everyone involved. We appreciate you.

With South Africa under Level 3 lock-down from 1 June, we will be open and running our contact-free delivery service. You will see some changes:

• We will be screening customers' temperatures as they come into the store
• We will have a hand-sanitizer hands-free station for customers to use
• Staff will be wearing face-masks and have been trained on recommended safety guidelines 
• Opening hours are now from Monday - Saturday 7.00 - 17.00
• We will be open at Dundas Street but temporarily closed at Somerset Street
